welcome to may blooms acreage

May Blooms Acreage came to be due to a deep desire to reconnect with nature; to learn and listen, and to live with great intention. I wanted to get to know the plants and animals that could provide that for our family. Learning to grow and care for them in the most ethical, humane and sustainable way possible has been a humbling journey that will never be complete. I will always strive for the animals on my land to feel free, to feel a part of nature. This is a lifestyle, a way of life for us all.

Our animals health is of the utmost importance and priority to me. From the seeds laid down each year, to the feed that nourishes them, it is all sourced locally and is organic. Focus is placed on holistic and  preventative measures when tending to my flock. From fermented feed and supplemental immune support, to a free range lifestyle.

Caring for and sharing our flock is humbling and deeply fulfilling. My heart and soul resides on this land, tending and nurturing all that we have to be thankful for here. Thank you for being here and investing in us and our dream.

We breed our flock with 3 main goals in mind; temperament, vigor and to the breed’s standard of perfection. The underline driving force for everything done here is to be sustainable stewards of the land we all collectively share.
